Mark D. Luschini

Mark Luschini serves as the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies best suited to satisfy the goals and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning.

He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees. In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income and asset allocation strategies under its advisory.

Mr. Luschini has spent more than twenty five years in the investment industry interfacing with both current and prospective clients. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to investment planning and asset management at seminars and conferences. His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Philadelphia Inquirer to the New York Times, Barron’s, Financial Times, and Wall Street Journal. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, CNN and PBS’s Nightly Business Report. He is a Trustee for Janney Montgomery Scott’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan.

 


Jodie K. Lurie, CFA
Senior Fixed Income Director

Jody Lurie serves the Firm's Private Client Group as the expert in corporate bonds, preferreds, and other taxable fixed income asset classes.  In this role, Ms. Lurie provides commentary on overarching trends and investment ideas in taxable fixed income, as well as research and strategy about issuers' debt structures at the micro level, offering trade recommendations and portfolio reviews to retail and institutional accounts.  Ms. Lurie covers an extensive list of companies across several industries, including, but not limited to, banks and non-bank financials, industrials, oil & gas, metal and mining, food & beverage, retail and telecom.  She has taken particular interest in niche topics, including the consumer credit conversation and its effects on the overall economy.

Ms. Lurie is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia.  She holds Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses.  Ms. Lurie graduated with honors from Bryn Mawr College, where she received her A.B. magna cum laude in Mathematics (Honors) and Economics.  Outside of work, Ms.Lurie enjoys running, cooking, baking, impressionist art, music, classic movies, bowling and traveling. 

 


Michael Repak , JD, CPA, LL.M.
VP, Senior Estate Planner

Michael Repak is an attorney and a CPA who specializes in Estate and Tax Planning and currently serves as a Senior Estate Planner with Janney’s High Net Worth Planning Group, part of the Firm’s Wealth Planning Department.

He has over 25 years of professional experience and, prior to joining Janney, managed his own law practice in Yardley, PA which concentrated in the areas of elder law and estate planning. He has also served as a Senior Tax Manager with KPMG and with Arthur Andersen. He has been an adjunct professor with the MBA program at Temple University.

Mr. Repak is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law as well as the Graduate Tax Law Program at the New York University School of Law.

 


Kim Beil
Vice President / Head of Insured & Cash Solutions

Kim Beil serves as Head of Insured and Cash Solutions in Janney Mongomery Scott's Wealth Management department.  Along with overseeing the group's daily activities,she's responsible for educating Janney's Financial Advisors and clients on how annuities, insurance, and long-term care can support investors in achieving their financial goals.  Additionally she's responsible for promoting Janney's Cash Management and Lending Services.  

 

A graduate of Drexel University, Ms. Beil holds a B.S. in business administration, and has over 17 years of financial services industry experience at Janney.  Active not only in the industry and with her Firm, Ms. Beil is also active in the community.  At Janney, she is a member of Janney's Women's Interactive Network (WIN) currently serving on the Recruiting and Community Relations Committee.  She is also a founding member of Girls on the Run Philadelphia, and previously served on the Board.  Girls on the Run is a non-profit program that encourages preteen girls to develop self respect and healthy lifestyles through running.  In her spare time, Ms. Beil enjoys running and challenging herself in half-marathons and marathons.
